STANDARD STRIPE CONNECT TIMELINES

Stripe Connect applies security delays before transferring money to your bank account. These delays help detect fraud and disputes.

Timelines vary depending on the status of your Stripe account:

NEW ACCOUNTS (7 DAYS)

For new Stripe accounts that have just been created and validated, the transfer timeline is 7 days after each sale.

Example: If you sell an artwork on January 10, you will receive the payment in your bank account on January 17 (7 days later).

VALIDATED ACCOUNTS (2 DAYS)

Once Stripe has validated your sales history and your account is considered reliable, timelines are reduced to 2 business days.

This transition happens automatically after a few weeks of trouble-free activity. You don't need to do anything, Stripe adjusts the timelines automatically.

INSTANT PAYOUTS (IMMEDIATE TRANSFER)

Stripe offers an instant payment option (Instant Payouts) for an additional fee of 1% of the amount with a minimum of EUR 0.50.

Example: For a sale of EUR 500, the instant transfer would cost EUR 5 (1% of EUR 500). You would receive EUR 495 immediately instead of waiting 2 to 7 days.

This option is useful in case of financial urgency, but it reduces your net income. ARTEDUSA recommends using standard transfers except when necessary.

CHECK YOUR PAYMENT STATUS

To find out if your account can receive payments, check your Sales dashboard (/user/artedusa/sales).

You will see an Account Status indicator with the following information:

- stripeAccountId: Your Stripe Connect identifier

- stripeChargesEnabled: true if you can receive payments

- stripePayoutsEnabled: true if Stripe can transfer to your bank

- stripeOnboardingComplete: true if your account is fully configured

FIRST PAYMENTS TAKE LONGER

Important: Your very first payments may take longer (up to 14 days) because Stripe performs additional security checks on new accounts.

After a few successful sales, timelines stabilize at 7 days, then 2 days once your account is validated.
