HOW THE SUBSCRIPTION WORKS

Fans can subscribe to your artist profile for EUR 5 per month. Of this EUR 5, you receive EUR 4 (80%) and ARTEDUSA keeps EUR 1 (20%) to cover Stripe and platform costs.

This subscription is recurring: each month, your subscribers are automatically charged EUR 5, and you receive EUR 4 per active subscriber.

REVENUE BREAKDOWN

Here is how the EUR 5 monthly fee is distributed:

- Fan pays: EUR 5.00/month

- Artist receives: EUR 4.00/month (80%)

- Platform: EUR 1.00/month (20%)

This breakdown covers Stripe fees (approximately EUR 0.30 per transaction) and platform maintenance costs.

CALCULATE YOUR MONTHLY REVENUE (MRR)

MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) is your monthly recurring income. It is calculated simply: number of active subscribers x EUR 4.

Example: If you have 50 active subscribers, your MRR is EUR 200/month (50 x EUR 4). This EUR 200 is automatically transferred to your Stripe account each month.

VIEW YOUR SUBSCRIBERS

To see your subscriber list, go to your artist space and click on the Subscribers tab. The direct URL is: /user/artedusa/subscribers

For each subscriber, you will see: their username, email, subscription start date, and status (active, canceled, unpaid).

SUBSCRIPTION STATUSES

A subscription can have several statuses:

- active: The subscriber pays each month, you receive EUR 4

- canceled: The subscriber has canceled, they will no longer be charged at the next cycle

- past_due: The payment has failed, Stripe will automatically retry

- unpaid: The payment has failed multiple times, the subscription is suspended

CANCELLATION BY THE SUBSCRIBER

Subscribers can cancel their subscription at any time from their user space. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.

Example: If a subscriber pays on January 15 and cancels on January 20, they will remain subscribed until February 15. You therefore still receive the February payment, then the subscription ends.
