ARTEDUSA: Art, collaboration and excellence...

A GENESIS DRIVEN BY AN ETHICAL VISION

Project Genesis

ARTEDUSA was born from a conviction shared by artists and artisans: art deserves to be accessible while allowing its creators to live with dignity from their passion. Our collective gradually formed around a common frustration: the difficulty of reconciling artistic excellence with economic viability.

Faced with this reality, we imagined an ecosystem where talents would be fairly valued, where quality would never be sacrificed, and where the public would have access to art under optimal conditions. ARTEDUSA embodies this vision through several complementary projects, the first of which is our art reproduction service.

Our collective decided to begin with the reproduction of public domain works as the first step in a more ambitious approach: developing the technical expertise necessary to offer, in time, a truly equitable service to contemporary artists. At the heart of this mission, three members trained in excellence workshops in France and Italy bring their mastery of colorimetric calibration, paper science, ink chemistry, as well as their skills in framing and art restoration.

OUR COMMITMENT: HAHNEMÜHLE FINE ART PRINTING

At the heart of our approach lies a fundamental choice: to collaborate exclusively with Hahnemühle, a German manufacturer founded in 1584. This decision is not random, but rather the expression of our quest for the absolute.

Only Hahnemühle papers offer the texture, depth, and longevity we deem worthy of the works we reproduce. Our expertise with these mediums allows us to exploit all their qualities to best serve each creation.

This exclusivity with Hahnemühle constitutes the first pillar of our excellence. We should note that we have no commercial partnership with this manufacturer – our choice is motivated solely by the exceptional quality of their products.

TECHNICAL MASTERY AS A SIGNATURE

Our production process integrates rigorous technical standards:

  • Daily colorimetric calibration according to ISO 12647 standard, with a Delta-E deviation of less than 1.5
  • Precise linearization of density curves preserving the most subtle nuances
  • Spectrophotometric control guaranteeing chromatic consistency under different lighting conditions
  • Protection with Hahnemühle Protective Spray in three ultra-thin layers applied in a controlled atmosphere

Each print then rests for a minimum of 24 hours, ensuring perfect integration of pigments into the paper structure.

This technical rigor constitutes the second pillar of our approach.

A CUSTOMIZED APPROACH

We refuse industrial standardization in favor of an individualized artisanal approach. Whether you choose a public domain work or a contemporary artist's creation for your interior, we don't just bring it to life: we study it, analyze its chromatic and textural specificities, and adapt our process to reveal all its qualities...

Our deliberately limited offering results from a choice of excellence: perfectly mastering a limited number of techniques rather than offering superficial diversity. For each client, this means a reproduction perfectly adapted to the chosen work.

OUR COMMITMENT TO EXCEPTIONAL FRAMING – COMING SOON

Faithful to our vision of excellence, we are currently developing a complete service of canvas reproductions and exceptional framing. This meticulous development requires considerable preparation time, reflecting our refusal to compromise on quality.

While we currently focus on Hahnemühle Fine Art printing, our vision extends further. We are developing an exceptional framing service including:

  • Museum-grade glass with optimal UV filtration and anti-reflective coating
  • SPAGL frames recognized for their quality
  • KLUG conservation materials
  • Neutral mats tested for acid-free properties
  • Professional hanging systems

GUARDIANS OF MEMORY, ACTORS OF THE FUTURE

Our commitment to art is expressed through two complementary dimensions: preserving and disseminating artistic heritage while actively supporting contemporary creation.

Each reproduction of a public domain work we create contributes to keeping collective memory alive, allowing art to travel beyond museum borders, making masterpieces accessible that deserve to be known and loved.

In parallel, our equitable sharing model with contemporary artists participates in the emergence of a future where creation and fair compensation would no longer be contradictory. We firmly believe it is possible to reconcile artistic value with economic value, technical excellence with commercial ethics.

Each work leaving our studio carries this dual promise: honoring the past and nourishing the future of art...

A Collective in Motion

Beyond art reproduction, our collective actively explores other creative horizons, always guided by the same values of excellence and equity. We are developing projects in the field of cinema, including the distribution of independent film works. ARTEDUSA has also contributed to the creation of an artist network and the establishment of a publishing house, ARTEDUSA Editions.

These initiatives, which will gradually come to life, will all share the same DNA: an ethical approach that fairly values the work of creators, uncompromising technical standards, and a desire to make art accessible to the greatest number without ever sacrificing its intrinsic quality...

ARTEDUSA is not just an art reproduction service – it's a movement that reinvents the relationship between artists, the public, and technical intermediaries, in a constant search for harmony between beauty, justice, and accessibility.
