Clara Peeters

Clara Peeters is a Flemish painter specializing in still lifes, born in Antwerp between 1580 and 1589 and died after 1657. She is famous for her detailed and luxurious representations of set tables, particularly her still lifes of cheeses and flowers. Her works are distinguished by their precision and realism, as well as by the inclusion of tiny self-portraits in the reflections of metallic objects.
