Artemisia Gentileschi

Artemisia Gentileschi is an Italian painter of the Caravaggisti school, born on July 8, 1593 in Rome and died around 1653 in Naples. She is considered one of the most accomplished artists of the 17th century, known for her powerful and expressive works that often address biblical and mythological themes with a unique female perspective. Her bold style and exceptional talent have made her a major figure in Baroque art.
