Antoine-Jean Gros

Antoine-Jean Gros, born on March 16, 1771 in Paris and died on June 25, 1835 in Meudon, is a French neoclassical and pre-romantic painter. He is famous for his historical paintings and portraits, particularly those of Napoleon and his generals.
