Élisabeth Le Brun

Élisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun, born on April 16, 1755 in Paris and died on March 30, 1842 in the same city, is a French artist painter famous for her portraits. She is known for having been the portraitist of Queen Marie Antoinette and for her talent in capturing the life and spirit of her subjects. She left an important artistic legacy with more than 660 portraits and 200 landscapes.
